GlobeCast and NETIA at IBC2011: International Content Management, Delivery, and Distribution

PARIS and NEW YORK - July 5, 2011 - GlobeCast and NETIA will be co-exhibiting at IBC2011, Sept. 9-13 at Amsterdam's RAI Convention Center, in stand 1.A29. The themes of the stand will be global content distribution, media asset management, and playout of international content, along with contribution services for sports and other content.

The stand will feature live demos and presentations that speak to the needs of international broadcasters today. Highlights include demonstrations of the end-to-end life cycle of television content, from ingest through worldwide delivery with media asset management using the NETIA system, and GlobeCast's playout and origination services, featuring content localization and content reshaping for any type of platform. GlobeCast will also be showcasing its contribution solutions for sporting events in 2012, including the London 2012 Olympic Games.

GlobeCast's continuously expanding infrastructure of satellite platforms, fiber backbone, and points-of-presence now offers customers unequalled access to cost-effective distribution over several continents.

End-to-End Content Life Cycle

At IBC2011, GlobeCast and NETIA will highlight the ability of broadcasters to ingest content locally, manage their media, and play out content in several regions of the world. The main tool for this is the new and improved Content Management System (CMS). NETIA's CMS allows customers to streamline all of their production processes through simple, easy-to-manage workflows and task automation. The new software suite also allows users to connect all of their partners and vendors within a single production ecosystem, simplifying the sharing and managing of media assets. Users can now manage all of the processes within the production environment from editing through post-production and distribution with one unique and easy-to-use interface.

Radio-Assist 8

NETIA will showcase its Radio-Assist^TM 8 range of digital audio automation software at IBC2011. Equipped with a broad range of tools for end-to-end multimedia workflows, the newest version of NETIA's acclaimed software suite now extends beyond traditional broadcasting, allowing users to prepare publication at an early stage of the workflow. NETIA's Radio-Assist family of digital audio software programs covers each part of the production and broadcast workflow, allowing users to record, edit, or prepare a playlist.
